Santa and things!

Crue LOVES to be outside even when it's freezing cold! Anytime he is sad, we get all bundled up and outside we go!!!

Thank Heaven for little GIRLS!

After 25 long hours of labor, Aspen Jean Holje made her appearance on Sat. Nov. 8th at 7:23 am. She weighed 7lbs. 3 oz. and was 21 inches long. Way to go MARY!!! Don't know how you did it, but we are so glad she is here! Congrats to Mike and Mary! We love you guys!

Happy Birthday MOM!!!

Where to start?? I don't know if there is enough room on this post for me to write about my mom. I am so lucky to have her and she is truly the best person I know. I have never met someone that never complains about life no matter how hard it gets, but my mom never does. She is always positive and is willing to help whenever anyone asks. And with 11 grand kids, you know she is asked A LOT! My mom never talks bad about anyone and she always finds the good in everyone even if there is no good. She gives and gives and gives without expecting anything in return. She is the greatest example of the Savior and I hope to one day be as great a person and mother that my mom has been to me. I have truly been blessed to have her as my mother. I never knew the love of a mother until I had Crue, but I now understand. Thanks mom for putting up with me for the past 27 years. You are the best mom anyone could ever ask for! I love you!

After dinner we told mom and dad bye and that we would see them on Sun. at dinner, and we went on our way. Little did she know that my dad was going to stall and we would all go to her house for another surprise! My cutest cousin Brooke came over and decorated for us and had the house all ready for when my mom and dad would get home. It was completely dark and she opened the door and she noticed some things out of place (thanks Amy for leaving your diaper bag right by the back door) :)... Then we all screamed "Surprise" and as you can tell in the picture below she was really surprised! It was really cute! Brooke also put together an amazing video for us of my mom that was absolutely precious! She was so excited and can't stop talking about it!
